You will need:

• Small table (preferably round)
• White table cloth
• Black napkin
• Bread plate, silverware
• Lemon slice
• Pinch of salt
• White candle
• Red rose in a plain vase
• Red, white and blue ribbon
• Wine glass
• American Flag

Place the bread plate on the table, with silverware and napkin on either side. Place lemon slice and salt onp late. Put the rose in the vase, and tie the ribbon around the vase. Place the vase, the flag and the candle on the table. Add the wineglass, upside-down.

THE SLICE OF LEMON ON THE BREAD PLATE REMINDS US OF [his/her] BITTER FATE.

THE SALT ON THE BREAD PLATE REPRESENTS THE TEARS OF [his/her] FAMILY.

THE WINE GLASS IS TURNED UPSIDE DOWN TO REMIND US THAT OUR DISTINGUISHED COMRADE CANNOT BE WITH US TO DRINK A TOAST OR JOIN IN THE FESTIVITIES THIS EVENING.
