	Southern Tier Regional Emergency Medical Services Council

STREMS Council membership is limited by law to persons residing in Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben Counties: "Members of each regional council shall be residents living within the geographic area to be served by the regional council." Persons interested in membership may submit an application, which will be considered when there are vacancies in the membership.

Council members are expected to:

• Sign a "statement of agreement" (see Membership packet)
• Name one or two alternates who can attend in his/her place when necessary
• Attend and actively participate in Council and assigned committee meetings
• Participate in Council activities and programs
• Use your particular skills and abilities to enhance the Council's Goals and Objectives, and for the advancement of EMS in the Southern Tier
