"Gerry's involvement in EMS goes back to the early days in the 70's. Gerry and his brother were legends when I came to Corning. In Woodhull you could count on the Rogers brothers if you had an emergency. I ran many calls with the Rogers brothers. I looked forward to linking up with them. They were excellent in their patient care, they were great in helping me get advanced care initiated, and were just great people to run with. Gerry was also one of the first in Steuben County to obtain Intermediate EMT. In addition he was also a lab instructor. Gerry was a leader in Steuben County EMS. He was a key participant in the development of our EMS system and was active until the end."      -Art Jones
